For communicating with a blog using the XMLRPC protocol, the remote blog should have the remote publishing option enabled. In WordPress, you can do this by going to Settings->Writing and check both the remote publishing options as shown in the image below.
You need to check both the options so that remote publishing can work

downloaded free version from WP to try out…I’ve put in correct information and checked both boxes but it won’t work. Any ideas what could be happening?
Nic – I won’t be able to say anything, the pro version is much advanced and works great
Hello, even your free wp plugin to manage other blogs sounds very interesting to me but unfortunally I do not get it run. I tried it with many blogs but every time the same error which could not be: “There is a problem – Either you have not enabled Remote Publishing or the login information is wrong” Besides the login information I am also sure that I activated the XML-RPC. Does it have something to do with Wordpress 3.0.4? Would be great if you have any idea what went wrong.Cheers, Muki
@muki – I have not updated the free version, but the pro version works fine with version 3.0.4
Hello,
please do not get this wrong but I would like to test the free version before I buy the pro version. Do you have any idea when the free version will be updated?
Cheers, Muki
I am not sure and also the free version and the pro version are completely different using different framework
Hello,
me again with my last question: will there be also in the near future the function integrated in KishPressPro to update WP and all plugins remotely?
Cheers, Muki
