Installation of Kish Twit Pro is very simple like a regular WordPress plugin. You can follow these steps
- Unzip the plugin folder
- You will get a folder named “kish-twit-pro” with some folders and files inside as shown in the image below

- Chmod the folders named “cache” and “xmlcache” to 777 as we need to write the cache files (If you have enabled cache in the settings)
- Download the GeoLiteCity.dat from here and upload it to the “geoip” folder in the plugin. (This is to covert the IP address to Location to get tweeps near your location).
- Now Activate the plugin and visit the plugin page. You will find the link under Tools called “Kish Twit Pro”
- You will be taken the setting panel, where you need to enter your twitter login details and application details. If you do not have a twitter application registered, you can register one. [How to register Your Own Twitter Application]
- Enter the consumer key and the consumer secret in the settings and save the option

- Once you have everything set fine, you should add your first twitter account. To do this, click on the Add New twitter account button in the settings page. You will be taken to the Twitter Website for authentication and returned back to this plugin page. You are done. You can further add all your accounts which you would like to manage using this tool. You just need to do the adding process once for all your accounts. Next time when your use this tool, all the accounts will be available in the control panel.
