Kish Multi Pro

I am sure there are many WordPress users who run multiple blogs and face difficulty in managing all of them like moderating comments, writing new posts, editing existing posts, etc. I was also one of those who used to login to all the blogs to moderate comments, reply to comments and update blog posts.

I had released a free version more than a year back, but was not able to support for many reasons. I have been getting support and development request which prompted me to re-start the development. I have worked a lot to bring up this pro version which has many bugs cleared and some new features added.

The advantage of this plugin is that you can switch your blogs with just one click on a single page without a page reload. It does not matter if your blog is hosted on different server or a different domain. We can manage any blog which is using WordPress or WordPress MU. You have to just install this plugin to any of your WordPress blog and configure all your blogs by just entering the blog url, admin login details and you are in full control of all your blogs. You can moderate comments, post submissions in realtime. You can concentrate on your blogging work with much more efficiency when you are focused on a single topic.

Installation

Download the plugin and unzip it and upload the “kish-multi” to your plugin folder and activate the plugin. You will find the Kish Multi Pro in the settings menu.

Adding Blogs

You need to enable remote publishing for the blogs that you would like to manage. This settings is very important because this plugin uses the XMLRPC protocol to communicate with the connected blogs. So for every blog that you are going to connect should have this option enabled. To enable this option, navigate to Settings->Writing inside the admin panel of that particular blog and check Enable the Atom Publishing Protocol and Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols for that particular blog.

Comment Moderation

You get all the pending comments of all the blogs that you have connected when you load the plugin page. You can read the full comment and decide if you want to “Approve”, “Delete” or mark “Spam”. Forget about all your blogs, just login to the admin panel of the blog where you have installed this plugin and get all the pending comments of all your blogs in a single page. You just click on Approve button to approve a comment and all is done on a single page (No page reloads : AJAX used for query)

Replying to Comments

You can reply to any comment as a regular comment reply or if you would like to reply through email, you can also do that using the “Reply by Email” option. There could be many situation where you would like to send a personal message to your blog commenter.

Moderating Posts

If you have other doing posts on your blog and you need to moderate them, then this will work great for you. You can even set the publish time for schedule posts

Reading comments

You can read comments posted on every blog that you have configured on this plugin. You can filter the comments by published, pending and spams (You can even check the spams posted on your blog). You can change the status of every comment by just a click.

Writing new Posts

You can write new posts on any connected blog very easily from the blog that you have installed this plugin. More than writing a post, you have some great search tools which helps you in searching information on the topic that you are writing without leaving the post form. Switch to any of your blog, to be very clear, you can post to any of your connected blog without going to that particular blog

Editing Existing Posts

You do not have to login from blog to blog to edit any of your posts, you can do it using Kish Multi Pro in just few clicks. You can add custom fields, images, video which means almost everything that you can do from your WordPress posting page. Again you have the blog selector which can be used to switch to any other blog.

Upload Images for Posts

You can upload images from your computer as well as any image from any web server. To enable this feature, you need to chmod the uploads folder to “777” inside the uploadfy folder. You can upload multiple images and to insert the image, just click the image. You can also upload an image from an image url by just entering the url of the image

Search Feature

You can search for any keywords from your own blogs, WikiPedia, Google News, Google Blog search, Google Search and other feed options. You can sign-up for an API key for free.

You should enter the home page url and generate the API Key

Reading Feeds and Blogging

I am a person who subscribe to different feeds and these feeds help me write new posts. With Kish Multi Pro, you can add all the feeds that you read regularly and read the post. More than reading, you can blog using this tool

You can add any number of feeds to this section and read the post as well as blog it. All you need is to select the text that you would like to add to your blog post and click on the “Blog It” link. To add a new feed, just enter the feed URL to the text box below on the left sidebar and click on the Save button.
