Thesis Theme for bbPress Forum

bbPress has released version 2.0 which is much improved and less buggy, but there are many who have big running forums with customizations done and would not want to go for the upgrade. The biggest problem that I noticed was the theme in bbPress 2.0. You can use the default Twenty ten theme or any other theme, but when it comes to Thesis, its a tough job. I gave it a try, but had some issues which I could not find solutions yet.

For the time being, I just decided to continue with my bbPress version integrated with WordPress which you see on this blog. I have Thesis theme running on this blog and I have bbPress version of Thesis ported. It is working fine for me, but I am still working on it to improve it more.

Please be aware that this does not work with the bbPress plugin for WordPress 2.0, but standalone version of bbPress integrated with WordPress as you see on this website. I am using this theme and is working fine for me. You can download it and use it. Your Thesis theme design would apply to your bbPress forum too.

You need to unzip and upload the files to your bb-press-templates folder and activate it in your bb-press admin panel.

You can add all the thesis hooks inside the functions.php
If you would like to make some changes, you can do it through thesis customization or even the theme files. Please do not make any changes to the thesis hooks or the main thesis theme.
